Greece 4

Now that I knew where the best beaches were, I spent the next couple days on a moped, just going from beach to beach. As with anything that carries a high risk of road rash, the moped was too much fun. But what was just as fun was staring at the roadsigns in Greek until, all of a sudden, you could read them.

On any other island, Sarakiniko Beach would have been a focal point, but on Milos it was just another of the many mysterious and unique beaches. Apparently the locals refer to it as a "lunar scape" but it reminded me of nothing more than the top of a lemon meringue pie. Lemon meringue pie that made for great cliff jumping.

Milos was my last island before finally making it to Athens
